IOCL Apprentice Recruitment Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold the following mandatory qualifications, depending on the trade/discipline applied for:
- 3 years B.Sc. (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry) for Codes 101 and 103.
- Matriculation with ITI in Fitter Trade of minimum 2 years duration with Pass class for Code 102.
- 3 years Diploma in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering for Codes 104, 105, 106, and 107 respectively.
- B.A./B.Sc./B.Com for Code 108 (Secretarial Assistant) and B.Com for Code 109 (Accountant).
- Class XII Pass for Code 110; Class XII Pass with Skill Certificate in ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ for Code 111.
All qualifications must be obtained through a regular full-time course from a recognized Board/University/Institute with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved seats) in aggregate.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 30.06.2026 which is the date for reckoning any eligibility criteria.
Age Relaxation: The relaxation of upper age limit for reserved categories are as follows:
