IAF Agniveer Musician Recruitment Education Qualification
- Passed Matriculation / 10th or equivalent with minimum pass marks from any Govt. recognized School / Board.
- Music Ability –
- Candidates must have proficiency in music with accuracy in tempo, pitch and singing one complete song. They should be able to perform one preparatory tune and any of the notations i.e. Staff notation/ Tablature/ Tonic Solfa/ Hindustani/ Carnatic etc. Candidates must be able to tune individual instruments (in case of instruments require tuning) and match unknown notes on vocal or instruments.
- Candidates must have proficiency in playing any one instrument
- Musical Experience Certificate –
- Grade 5th or equivalent or above in one instrument from a recognized music institute such as TCL or RSM, KM Music Conservatory, Bangalore School of Music, TSM, GMI, Berklee School of Music etc. OR
- Diploma or equivalent in the field of music for candidates performing Hindustani or Carnatic Classical Music from any recognized University. OR
- Certificate of participation/ awards presented at various events. For such candidates’ performance/ playing of blowing instruments with staff notation.

IAF Agniveer Musician Recruitment Age Limit
Age Limit: Candidates born between 1 January 2005 and 1 July 2008 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply for the Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2026. If a candidate successfully clears all stages of the selection procedure, the upper age limit as of the date of enrolment must not exceed 21 years.
Indian Air Force Recruitment Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay an examination fee of ₹100/- plus GST while registering for the online examination.
Payment can be made online through Debit Cards, Credit Cards or Internet Banking using the payment gateway.

IAF Agniveer Musician Recruitment Physical Fitness Test
Names of the shortlisted candidates, who qualify the online test, shall be displayed on the CASB Web Portal https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in and on a stipulated date shall be called at designated ASC for Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Adaptability Test-II. PFT consists of two parts i.e. PFT-I and PFT-II.
PFT- I
Candidates have to complete 1.6 Kms run as per the following timings to qualify for PFT-II:-

PFT- II
Candidates who qualify PFT-I will go for PFT-II after 10 minutes of recuperation time. The sequence of exercises and maximum time period for male and female candidates are as follows:-
