Tripura TET Recruitment 2025: Teachers Recruitment Board Tripura will conduct T-TET 2025 in two papers, namely T-TET Paper-I for a person intending to be a teacher for Class I-V and T-TET Paper-II for a person intending to be ateacher for Class VI-VIII. Age Limit: Candidates who are above 18 years of age will be able to submit their online applications for T-TET.
Tripura TET Eligibility Criteria
1. T-TET 2024 Paper I (for Classes I-V):
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05) by whatever name known.
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education by whatever name known, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002 (or one year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El.Ed.)
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Graduation and 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05) by whatever name known
2. T-TET 2024 Paper II (for Classes VI-VIII):
- Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05) by whatever name known.
- At least 50% marks either in Graduation or Post-Graduation and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).*
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El.Ed.).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years B.A. / B. Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed / B. Sc. Ed.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.) (Special Education).
- Post-Graduation with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
“Provided that minimum percentage of marks in graduation shall not be applicable to those incumbents, who had already
taken admission to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course prior to the 29th

- T-TET Paper-I is for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I-V and T-TET Paper-II is for a person whointends to be a teacher for classes VI-VIII.
- Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC) would be required while applying for jobs by direct recruitment under the State Government, Corporations, Boards, PSUs etc.
NB: Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PH category.
Tripura TET Age Limit
- 18 to 40 years as on 12.12.2024. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/PH and Government Servant provided that government employees belonging to SC/ST/PH category will not get relaxation over and above general relaxation of 5 years available to them.
- Upper age limit is also relaxable for Ex-Serviceman (ESM) as per norms.
