Stage 1: Written Examination (170 Marks)
- Type: MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) based
- Duration: 3 hours
- Total Marks: 170
- Qualifying Marks (UR Category): Minimum 55% in each subject
- Qualifying Marks (Reserved Category): Minimum 45% in each subject
Stage 2: Interview / Personality Test (30 Marks)
- Candidates are called on the basis of written test results
- Calling Ratio:
- For 1 vacancy: 5 candidates (category wise)
- For 2 vacancies: 8 candidates (category wise)
- For 3 vacancies and above: 3 times the number of vacancies
- Candidates scoring marks equal to the last qualified candidate shall also be called
- The interview assesses intellectual ability, social traits, current affairs interest, critical judgment, depth of interest, leadership ability, and moral integrity
Final Merit List
- Final selection is made in order of merit
- Merit list prepared by adding marks of written examination + Interview/Personality test
- Candidates absent in interview will not be considered for final selection
