Pay Scale: Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹29,000/- per month in the scale of ₹29000– 1700 (3) – 34100 – 2040 (4) – 42260 – 2720 (6) – 58580 – 2950 (2) – 64480 – 3370 (3) – 74590 – 4050 (1) – 78640 and other allowances, as admissible from time to time. At present, initial Monthly Gross Emoluments (without HRA) for Assistant will be approximately ₹58,514/- Per Month.
Educational Qualification: At least a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.
Language Proficiency: Candidates applying to a recruiting office should be proficient in the language (i.e., know how to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the State/UT falling under that office.
Age Limit: Between 20 and 28 years. Candidates born not earlier than 02/02/1998 and not later than 01/02/2006 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates (up to 30 years), by 3 years for OBC candidates (up to 28 years), and by 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) (GEN/EWS). Additional relaxations apply for Ex-Servicemen and widows/divorced women as per government rules.

RBI Assistant Recruitment Selection Process
Selection will be through Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
