SBI Clerk Recruitment Post Details
The State Bank of India has announced a special recruitment drive through advertisement no. CRPD/CR-SPLDRIVE/2024-25/23 for the position of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre. This recruitment is specifically targeted at the Ladakh Union Territory (UT), including the regions of Leh and Kargil Valley.
SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification Details
- Minimum Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Final-year/semester students can apply provisionally and produce proof of passing by December 31, 2024.
- Ex-Servicemen: Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or equivalent after 15 years of service is acceptable.
Age Limit
Applicants must have completed 20 years of age and should not exceed more than 28 years as of 01 April 2024. It means an individual born between April 2, 1996, and April 1, 2004 (inclusive of both dates) is eligible for SBI Clerk Recruitment. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to the reserved categories as given below.
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: Up to 10-15 years (depending on category)
Selection Process for SBI Clerk Recruitment
The recruitment process includes three main stages:
- Preliminary Examination: This is a one-hour online test with questions on English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. Each section has a specific time limit. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their total marks.
- Main Examination: A more detailed test that includes topics like General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, & Computer Aptitude. The marks from this exam will decide the final merit list.
- Language Proficiency Test: Candidates need to clear a test in their chosen local language (Urdu, Ladakhi, or Bhoti). Those who have valid 10th or 12th-grade certificates showing they studied the specified language will not have to take this test.
