The Railway Recruitment Board has officially released the RRB NTPC Result 2026 Graduate Level for CEN No. 06/2025 on 11 June 2026. Candidates who appeared in the Computer Based Test conducted from 16th – 27th March 2026 can now check their result and shortlisting status on their respective RRB zone’s official website. Along with the result, the board has also published the list of candidates provisionally shortlisted for the 2nd Stage CBT.

RRB NTPC Result 2026
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducted the CBT 1 exam for 8868 NTPC posts recruited through two notifications, CEN 06/2025 for Graduate Level (5810 posts) and CEN 07/2025 for Undergraduate Level (3058 posts). The Graduate Level CBT 1 was held from 16 to 27 March 2026, with over 40 lakh candidates appearing across multiple shifts. The result for the Graduate Level CBT 1 has been declared on 11 June 2026. The Undergraduate Level exam is being conducted from 7 May to 21 June 2026.
RRB publishes the CBT 1 result as a PDF containing the roll numbers of qualified candidates on all regional RRB websites. Along with the result, RRB also releases category-wise cut-off marks and individual scorecards. Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the result PDF will be shortlisted for the 2nd Stage CBT. The scorecard, which shows the marks obtained by each candidate, is available through a separate login using Registration Number and Date of Birth.

RRB NTPC Qualifying Marks
CBT 1 is a screening test. The marks scored here do not count toward the final merit; they are only used to shortlist candidates for CBT 2. A total of 20 times, the community-wise vacancies are shortlisted based on normalized CBT 1 scores. The minimum qualifying percentage for each category is as follows:

These are the minimum eligibility marks. The actual cut-off is always higher than these figures because of the large number of candidates competing for limited seats. Cut-off marks vary by zone, category, and the number of applicants in each region. RRB releases the zone-wise and category-wise cut-off along with the result PDF.
Normalization of Marks
Since the CBT 1 exam is conducted across multiple days and shifts, the difficulty level of the question papers can vary. To make the evaluation fair, RRB uses equi-percentile normalization to adjust scores across different sessions. This means the final scores on the result may differ from the raw marks a candidate calculated from the answer key. The normalization process is applied for CBT 1, CBT 2, and CBAT stages.
