UPSC Recruitment Age Limit

Age limits differ by post and category. UPSC Recruitment Salary

Selected candidates will receive pay as per the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix. The pay level ranges from Level-7 for posts such as Company Prosecutor and Photographic Officer to Level-11 (with NPA) for medical Specialist Grade III posts. In addition to basic pay, candidates are entitled to Dearness Allowance, HRA, and other admissible allowances as per Central Government rules.

UPSC Recruitment Selection

The selection process for UPSC Advertisement No. 07/2026 varies by post. For most posts, it consists of shortlisting based on the online application, followed by a Recruitment Test or Combined Recruitment Test (CRT) if warranted, and then a Personality Test (Interview).   4. Personality Test / Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for interview. Candidates must bring the printout of their online application and all original/self-attested copies of supporting documents.
  5. Final Selection and Appointment: Appointment orders are issued by the respective Ministry/Department. UPSC may grant higher initial pay to candidates adjudged meritorious at the interview stage.
