NIACL Exam Selection Process
The selection process for NIACL Assistant Recruitment 2024 is a multi-tiered process designed to ensure that only the most qualified candidates are selected. It consists of three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and the Regional Language Test. Below are the details:
1. Preliminary Examination (Tier I)
The Preliminary Examination is an online objective test worth 100 marks, conducted for a duration of 1 hour. It consists of three sections:

The Main Examination is an online objective test worth 250 marks, conducted over 2 hours. It consists of five sections:

Note: Candidates must achieve a minimum total score in the Main Examination to qualify for the Regional Language Test. One-fourth of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for each incorrect response.
3. Regional Language Test
The Regional Language Test assesses the candidates’ proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the regional language of the State/UT they are applying for. This test is qualifying in nature, and no separate marks are awarded.
Note: Candidates failing the Regional Language Test will be disqualified. The final selection is based on the performance in the Main Examination, subject to qualifying in the Regional Language Test.
NIACL Recruitment Final Selection
Merit List: The final merit list is prepared state-wise and category-wise in descending order of marks secured in the Main Examination, provided the candidate qualifies for the Regional Language Test.
Tie-Breaking Criteria: In case of a tie, the candidate who is senior in age will be given preference.
