IBPS RRB Clerk Exam Pattern

The exam is conducted in online mode in two phases. The Prelims acts as a screening test, and Mains is the final selection stage. Candidates must clear sectional and overall cut-offs to qualify.

Candidates applying for a specific State/UT must be proficient in the local language (reading, writing, speaking).

  • Exemptions are given to candidates who studied the local language in 10th standard or above.
  • LLPT is qualifying in nature and conducted after the Mains but before final joining.

Negative Marking

  • For both Prelims and Mains, 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer.
  • No deduction for unanswered questions.

Candidates should attempt only questions they are confident about to avoid losing marks.
