- LP: Pay Band – 2 (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- plus Grade Pay Rs 7,400/- Per Month
- UP: Pay Band – 2 (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- plus Grade Pay Rs 8,700/- Per Month
DEE Assam Recruitment Qualification
For Lower Primary Teacher:
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education), recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- The candidate must have passed the ATET/CTET for LP Schools.
For Upper Primary Teacher:
- Graduate with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education), recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- The candidate must have passed the ATET/CTET for UP Schools.
Age Limit: A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years for unreserved category, 42 years for Ex-Servicemen, 43 years for OBC/MOBC and 45 years for SC/ST(P)/ST(H) and 50 years for Persons with Disability (PwD)
Small Family Norms: No person having more than two living children on or after 01.11.2021 from a single or multiple partners shall be eligible for appointment as per the Govt. policy on Small Family Norms.
Citizenship: Candidates must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and permanent residents of Assam.
Language Proficiency: Either Language-I or Language-II of both ATET and CTET candidates must match the medium of instruction of the school where the candidate wishes to apply.

Selection Process: The selection of candidates will be based on a merit list prepared for each district and category. The district-wise and category-wise breakup of vacancies will be notified in due course.
