COF Tripura Recruitment Details
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Project Title: “UAAV-based eDNA mapping of an aquatic ecosystem of Loktak Lake for fishery management”
- Qualification: M.F.Sc. in Fisheries Science or M.Sc. in Zoology with specialization in Fisheries/Environmental Science.
Desirable Qualification
- Postgraduate degree in Aquaculture/Fisheries Resource Management/Molecular Biology/Biotechnology.
- Research and fieldwork experience in Aquaculture, Fisheries Resource Management, Molecular Biology, or Biotechnology.
Age Limit: 35 years (Relaxation: 5 yrs for SC/ST/Women and 3 yrs for OBC candidates or as per Government norms).
Monthly Emolument
- Rs. 31,000 + HRA @ 8% for candidates selected through: National Eligibility Test – CSIR/UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professor) or GATE
- A selection process through National-level examination conducted by Central Government Departments/Agencies/Institutions. Rs. 25,000 + HRA for others who do not fall under (a) above.
Project Associate-I
Project Title: “DBT-NER Advanced Level Institutional Biotech Hub, COF, CAU (Lembucherra, Tripura Phase II)”
- Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Fisheries Science or Master’s degree in Basic Sciences from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualification
- Research experience in Fisheries Science, Biotechnology, or Environmental Science.
- Skills in molecular biology and laboratory techniques.
Age Limit: 35 years (Relaxation: 5 yrs for SC/ST/Women and 3 yrs for OBC candidates or as per Government norms).
Monthly Emolument : Same as above (depending on qualification): Rs. 31,000 + HRA @ 8% (with National Eligibility qualification) or ₹25,000 + HRA (without)
